The Brooklawn Fire Company is a fully volunteer department of 25 members operating two stations. It proudly serves our community as well as provides fire protection services, light rescue, water rescue, and firefighting mutual aid and air support services to surrounding communities.
The Fire House is a friendly, family-like atmosphere where all are invited to stop in and make friends. Members provide friendly help to residents and businesses including assistance with changing batteries in smoke detectors, installing new smoke detectors, fire safety awareness training and inspections.
The Brooklawn Fire Company sponsors a BSA Learning for Life explorer post where young adults from the ages of 15 to 21 can join and learn what is involved in firefighting. The Ladies Auxiliary is always looking for new members to get involved. Association members help with non-firefighting activities and administrative functions including parades, Borough activities and fundraising. Meetings are the second Tuesday of the month but members are at the station almost every night of the week.
